Traditional acupuncture takes a holistic approach, aiming to treat each person by addressing the root causes of their symptoms. Every treatment is customized to the individual, considering the balance of their body, mind, and spirit. When any of these aspects are out of harmony, true well-being cannot be achieved.

When the body is unwell, the mind becomes anxious, and the spirit feels sorrow.
When the mind is troubled, both the body and spirit experience confusion and distress.
When the spirit is weakened, there is little desire to care for the mind or body.
Acupuncture Treatment
During acupuncture treatment very fine needles are inserted at certain points to promote the body's functions.

All needles are sterile and used only once. Sometimes you might feel some sensation once the needle is inserted but mostly it is barely noticible.
Sometimes I will use direct or indirect moxubation, to warm certain parts of the body and associated acupuncture points.

Moxa, known as Mugwort [Artemisia vulgaris] is a herb that can sometimes be found growing on the side of Roman roads. It is belived that Romans used to put it in their shoes to alleviate pain from long walking. The main goal of moxibustion is to enhance and promote the circulation of blood .
